The challenge

Aker Solutions' facility in Stord required surface treatment capacity for large-scale energy-sector components — five new halls for abrasive blasting, thermal spraying and industrial painting, plus the refurbishment and modernization of three existing halls — coordinated as one project rather than as separate mechanical, electrical and automation packages.

What Minex delivered

Minex Group provided an integrated solution across all halls, covering project management, technical engineering, electrical control panels, automation software, installation and mounting support, and system start-up and commissioning.

How it was delivered

The mechanical, electrical and automation components were coordinated within a single project by Straaltechniek International BV, for which Minex Group was sub-supplier, providing also support to commissioning and handover in 2024.
