The Elcometer 135B Bresle Patches are original, ISO-compliant tools used to assess surface chloride contamination on steel before coating. These self-adhesive rubber film patches contain a sealed compartment that enables the extraction of soluble salts from the substrate with a suitable solvent.

Supplied with the Elcometer 138 Bresle Salt Kit, the Elcometer 135B patch is specifically designed for field testing. It creates a watertight test chamber for injecting and extracting liquid samples, which can then be analyzed for conductivity to determine salt concentration.
