Elcometer 2050 High Precision Grindometer
The Elcometer 2050 High Precision Grindometer is a single-channel precision instrument used to determine particle size and fineness of grind for a wide range of materials, including paints, pigments, inks, coatings, chocolates, and other similar products. Its high accuracy makes it ideal for laboratories and production quality control environments where detailed measurement is critical.
Manufactured from hardened stainless steel, both the gauge and scraper offer long-lasting durability and consistent performance. The top surface is graduated in microns with an exceptional precision of ±1μm, making it suitable for extremely fine particle analysis.
Thanks to its gentle groove gradient, the Elcometer 2050 is particularly well-suited for measuring fine inks. The two grooves feature a scale of 2.5μm for better resolution, while the groove dimensions—25mm width and 165mm length—offer ample measurement range. Both the micron and NPIRI scales are included, ensuring flexibility for various industry standards.
