Elcometer 2310 Shell Viscosity Dip Cups
The Elcometer 2310 Shell Viscosity Dip Cups are high-quality stainless steel cups designed for quick and practical viscosity measurements on-site or during production. Commonly used in the printing and ink industries, these cups provide a simple and effective method for monitoring product consistency in real time.
To measure viscosity, the user simply dips the cup into the fluid, lifts it out, and records the flow time—how long it takes for the liquid to fully drain through the cup’s orifice. This kinematic viscosity is expressed in seconds and can easily be converted into centistokes (cSt) using standard conversion charts.
The Elcometer 2310 series includes six dip cups with different orifice sizes, allowing for a wide measurement range from 2 to 1300cSt, making them suitable for a broad variety of fluid types and applications.
