Elcometer 3508 4 Gap Applicator

The Elcometer 3508 4 Gap Film Applicator is a precision tool made from hardened stainless steel, designed to apply coatings in four different fixed thicknesses using a single applicator. Each edge of the applicator features a straight spreading blade with a specific film gap, allowing users to quickly switch between coating thicknesses by simply rotating the applicator to the desired side.

Equipped with two integrated reservoirs, the Elcometer 3508 is particularly suitable for preparing test samples for use with the Elcometer 1720 Abrasion, Scrubbing and Washability Tester. It is also ideal for simultaneously comparing two different coatings under identical application conditions.
